Since first superimposing SPECT brain imaging on my psychopharmacologic practice it's become clear that brain function must be evaluated one way or another for more precise intervention strategies. Since 2006 I've been reporting on those imperative changes at CorePsych Articles in an effort to make a difference in peoples lives through more precise treatment protocols. The mission: transform new brain and body science into real action. I'm actively involved with the development of training programs for practitioners looking for better answers through CoreBrain Training systems [http://www.corebrain.org].
Mismanaged care diminishes both doctor and patient, inappropriately reducing the complexity of mind and body challenges to commoditize the process for their bean counters and statisticians. Institutional thinking currently paralyzes the exchange of valuable new brain science from the laboratories to the front lines. As an office practitioner with no tenure worries I teach you how to quickly and effectively improve your mind-health care delivery process. Mind evidence is useful, has immediate value, and simply requires experienced coaching to make that transition into the office. CoreBrain Training is about global mind citizenship, developing mind-science treatment teams and programs to make a difference anywhere.
Multiple levels of care with an extraordinary team of excellent mental health providers, including medication management, psychotherapy, neurofeedback, Rapid Response Team, EMDR, recovery counseling, child, marital, and couples counseling, mediation, custody evaluation, psychological testing and coaching. At PSA we believe in careful diagnosis, providing real activity, not passivity, and real change in the context of measurable specific clinical and laboratory criteria. Specialized evidence and intervention strategies with SPECT imaging and nutritional and hormone evaluation accomplished through CorePsych.
SPECT Brain Imaging, Neuropsychiatric Evaluation and treatment for a variety of challenging psychiatric conditions. As Chief in DC I worked to ensure quality of care with all providers at Amen DC, and organized the first Virtual Clinical Discussion Groups with all four Amen clinics. Amen's insight into the usefulness of SPECT brain imaging opened the door for the evolution of my current brain training activities. Our exemplary team in DC still carries on with our original mission of providing the absolute best customer care.
During my tour our team developed nationally recognized treatment programs for addiction recovery. Peninsula Hospital was since sold to Riverside Hosp in Newport News, VA. While there we also developed inpatient programs for Compulsive Destructive Relationships. Peninsula had a great team, good administration - it was there that I laid the foundation for the insights with by book: "Deep Recovery."
